It was the first game back since the Christmas break but Wokingham showed no signs of rustiness early on.

Tarryn Rostenne struck Wokingham's first goal before an own goal by Reading's goalkeeper moved the visitors into a two-goal lead at half-time.

But Reading came out strongly in the second half and pulled a goal back early on, which seemed to knock the wind out of Wokingham's sails.

Before long they pulled the score back to 2-2 and with Wokingham's heads down, they managed to score a third and take the game 3-2.

Joint man-of-the-match went to Mary King and goalkeeper Nicola Baines.

Bracknell Ladies 1sts began the second half of the season with a 3-2 win at Bicester but a lacklustre first half proved costly as Bracknell 2nds were beaten 2-1 by Gerrards Cross.

Bracknell Men's 1sts took the lead three times against High Wycombe but were held to a 3-3 draw.

Peter Scott, Gary Steeples and Paul Kaplanski put Bracknell ahead on each occasion but the visitors hit back with an equaliser with just over five minutes remaining courtesy of a deflected goal.
