BINFIELD FC boss Mark Tallentire revealed the secret behind their recent success - a walk on the seafront.

Binfield boss Mark Tallentire.

In-form Moles made it eight wins in a row in all competitions with a 3-0 victory at Highmoor Ibis on Monday night to go third in the Hellenic Premier table.

Earlier, Tallentire's men secured a plum FA Trophy third round tie against Tunbridge Wells by beating fellow Kent Premier Division outfit Deal Town 5-2 away from home on Saturday.

And Tallentire believes that a week of team bonding, including strolls along the Kent coastline, has brought his players even closer.

He told the News: "We had a great session last Tuesday, went go-karting on the Wednesday, another good session on Thursday then on Friday we met at the clubhouse, had something to eat then hit the road for Deal.

"When we got there we went to the hotel, we ate together Saturday morning, then we went for a walk together on the seafront before the game.

"Then it all just fell into place. We near enough spent every day together last week, which is a bit unheard of at this level.

"There is a fantastic buzz around the club. The boys can't wait to come to training and that's what football's all about at this level."
