Plans go on display today for revamp of 'gateway' to Wokingham

A ‘gateway’ to Wokingham town centre is set to be demolished and turned into flats and shops.

Peach Street

Under the plans, the 1980s red brick building, on the corner of Peach Street and Cross Street, plus adjoining units 74-80 Peach Street would be torn down and 39 flats of one and two bedrooms built on the site.

A public exhibition will be held today (Thursday) at the Town Hall, Market Place, from 2-8pm, where plans will be unveiled for feedback.
