The incidents occurred between 11pm and 6am on Monday February 10 and Tuesday February 11, while the residents slept, with burglars putting an instrument through each home's letterbox and opening the front door from the inside
Thieve struck at two homes in Woodward Close, where a white BMW, a small amount of cash, bank cards and a handbag were taken from one property along with cash, bank cards, and a set of keys at the other.
The other burglary was in Laburnum Road, where a laptop was taken.
Police believe the three burglaries are connected and Detective Sergent Christina Berenger said: “I am urging residents to please ensure all doors and windows are closed and locked when leaving the house or going to bed, and to ensure their keys are not in reach or visible from any external doors to the property.
"Do not leave hand bags in easy view or your car keys inside them.”
