The all-girls Marist Preparatory School held its 'woodland fairies fun day’ last Thursday at its grounds, with about 100 people turning up.
Youngsters got to create fairy houses, mix different coloured fairy dust and pretend they’re queen of the fairies by designing their own crowns.
Children could also get their faces painting while another craft activity meant they could make their own mini fairy garden.
Tinkerbell herself made an appearance, encouraging the children to join her in some games and taking a walk in the school’s new sensory garden.
The day also gave parents of prospective new pupils to take a look around the school and its facilities.
The school’s headteacher, Jenny Finlayson, said: “As a headteacher, nothing gives me greater pleasure than meeting new families considering these all important first steps for their daughter’s education. It is a delight to watch them grow and develop in their own way during their time at the Marist Preparatory School.”
