Sebastian’s Action Trust held a quiz night at Brownlow Memorial Hall in Warfield, which raised £1,180 for the charity.
The quiz was made up of 10 rounds, including a blindfolded ‘guess the chocolate’ game.
Organiser Stephen King said: “Last year’s quiz night was so successful that we decided to hold the quiz again and it was an even greater event supporting such a worthwhile charity that helps families of seriously-ill children.”
The overall winners were team ‘No Idea’, made up of Liz Ormonde, Lauran King, Abbie Pearson and Jimmy Walker, who each won a bottle of Prosecco each.
There was also a raffle on the night, held on Saturday, February 1, which raised £330 alone.
Sebastian’s Action Trust is a charity set up to give life-limited children and their families a holiday away together.
The charity was set up in memory of Ascot boy Sebastian Gates, who died from Wilm’s tumour, a rare form of cancer in 2003, aged just nine.
