Chief Inspector for the Joint Roads Policing Unit, Henry Parsons said: “We produced the video to enhance the message that drinking and driving is not acceptable and those caught drink driving will lose their licence and could also lose their job, home and their livelihood”.
“The video reminds people that they need to think before they drive the morning after they have been on a night out drinking.
“The reason for keeping the video anonymous on initial release was somewhat of a social experiment as at this time of year people expect to receive messages from the police and these messages can often get lost or be overlooked. We hope that this video and the other videos that have been produced by colleagues in Hampshire help to get the message through to people that drink and drug driving just isn’t worth the risk”.
