PC Gary Campion issued the warning following a raid on three premises last Friday, which resulted in cannabis and a safe being confiscated.
More than 20 officers took part in the raid on two properties in Sandhurst and another in Birch Hill.
PC Campion said: "The message to say is people who deal will sell drugs to anybody they can do - they could sell to my family or your family.
"They prey on the vulnerable in the community and will sell to children.
"Basically, we want to appeal to residents that if they think something is going on to let us know.
"If they tell us, we can go to the magistrates to grant a warrant and we can act for them.
"They can tell us anonymously but we want to know so we can break the dealers' operations. If we confiscate it and they cannot sell it one week it can make a big difference.
"Some of these problems are in social housing and we will be working with landlords who take drug dealing in their premises very, very seriously.
After raiding the properties, officers retrieved equipment for growing the drug and seized bags used to sell it.
Four people have been arrested following the raids and have been bailed until August.
