DELAYS are continuing on the M4 eastbound after lane closures caused by an earlier crash involving three cars.

The accident happened between Junction 10 for Reading, Wokingham and Bracknell and Junction 8/9 for Maidenhead at around 6pm with residual delays and congestion continuing.

Travel time is estimated to be of around 20 minutes and a speed limit is in place of 40mph, but all lanes have now reopened.

The Highways Agency anticipates normal traffic flow to resume by 8.15pm.

Its sad that accident took place due to congestion but I am angry with traffic police that why they don't do anything to avoid jams on road.
