About six men were involved in a fight at the Royal Forresters Pub, London Road, Ascot, which resulted in two people being injured by an air rifle.
The incident took place at about 8.55pm on Tuesday (May 7).
Witnesses saw one of the people involved in the fight with an air rifle, which was discharged twice. The group then fled. Two men in their twenties sustained minor injuries consistent with being hit by air rifle pellets.
There were also reports of further assaults using a metal bar as a weapon.
Police are seeking witnesses who may have seen the fighting, the person with the weapon or any of the associates. Officers are also seeking witnesses who may have seen the offenders fleeing in a vehicle.
Investigating officer Sgt Tom Day said: "Discharging a firearm in a public place, in a group of people, is extremely dangerous andwhoever did so had little thought for the consequences of such an action.
"While it was fortunate that nobody was seriously hurt, the injuries sustained could easily could have been much worse. We would urge anyone who witnessed the fight or saw a man with an air rifle style weapon in the area at the time to contact us as soon as possible."
