Dazzling array of festive fun

MUSIC, entertainment and, of course, Father Christmas will help light up Bracknell for Christmas this weekend.

Former X Factor finalist Amelia Lily will switch on the Christmas lights and Bracknell's Got Talent winner Joe Emmett will also entertain the crowds.

Amelia Lily will perform in Charles Square at 5pm on Sunday and switch on the town centre's lights at 5.20pm.

Other performers include Glee Club Bracknell, R&B group 3RA and the Zingzillas musical show.

Events on Saturday

10.30am - Father Christmas arrives in the town centre as part of a parade

11am - Santa's Grotto opens at Bentalls in Princess Square

Noon - 3RA

1pm - Artemis performing arts school junior dance team

2.30pm - Artemis teen groups and graduate

3pm - Joe Emmett

4pm - School of the Arts

Events on Sunday

11am, noon and 1pm - ZingZillas

2pm - Children can meet ZingZillas

3.45pm - Artemis junior and senior dance teams

4.30pm - Amelia Lily switches on Princess Square shopping centre lights

5pm - Amelia Lily performs at Charles Square

5.20pm - Amelia Lily turns on the Christmas lights with Father Christmas

A firework display will take place afterwards.

    todays events were poor.there were not enough speaker in princess square or charles square to carry a good quality sound.the bass was far too low and made the performance inaudilble .

    the projection screen was pitiful.so small for such a large area..what were they thinking

    the crowd that waited walked away as they could not see or hear

    wasted oppotunity
