LABOUR candidate Andrew Jackson has won the town centre ward seat on Bracknell Town Council.

The by-election was held at the Kerith Centre yesterday after Tory councillor, Neil Ellis, stood down from the seat in September.

Taking to Twitter earlier today, Mr Jackson said: "Looking forward to the privilege of representing the town centre. Thanks again to everyone who voted."

He was up against Lisa Bradley, Conservative, Mark Brown, Green Party, and Larraine de Laune, Liberal Democrats.
