THE PLANNING committee at Bracknell Forest Council has cast a unanimous vote in favour of building on the former TRL site in Crowthorne at a meeting tonight.

The proposed development could see up to 1,000 homes, a community centre, a primary school, care home and council depot built on the site.

About 50 residents attended the committee meeting, who were concerned with the impact on infrastructure, noise nuisance and the disruption to wildlife.
