Two females taken to hospital in two-vehicle smash

TWO females who were involved in an accident between a car and a van in Birch Hill this morning (Sunday) were taken to hospital.

Emergency services were called to the scene in South Hill Road at about 11.30am, where the silver Toyota had managed to wedge itself under the white Ford Transit van after colliding with it from behind.

The two females in the transit van were take by paramedics to Royal Berkshire Hospital for minor injuries.

Firefighters from Bracknell assisted in separating the two vehicles before they were taken away.

The emergency services left the scene at about 12.30pm.
