A WOMAN who has had Myalgic Encephalomyelitis for 12 years has had her head shaved to raise money for a charity which focuses on combatting the illness.
ME sufferer Sami Lewis has her hair chopped for charity at Marc Antoni, in Bracknell, by hairdresser Amber Gill.
Sami Lewis, whose 13-year-old son Tom Barton was also diagnosed with the illness last year, had her locks chopped off at Marc Antoni, in Princess Square, last Monday.
She has raised more than £440 for Invest in ME.
