They are raising money for Daisy’s Dream – a charity which supports children and their families who have been affected by the life-threatening illness or bereavement of someone close to them – and Guide Dogs.
Funds have been raised in different ways with some sponsored events, some pay to enter, some by selling home-made food or food made cooked by the college’s Hospitality students.
College staff and students have also held street collections.
James Langdon, student services manager at the college. said: “Both our students and staff got into the fundraising spirit of RAG Week and the atmosphere around the college was extremely lively and vibrant.
“We had a number of successful events including a bake-off challenge, a retro sports day, hair stencilling, face-painting, cake sales and sports tournaments.
“We also had an Everest stair climb, a car pull challenge, a fete, and to finish the week our very own version of The Voice.
“The local community also helped us raise funds when we had groups of students completing bed pushes through Bracknell town centre each day and in Wokingham on Thursday lunchtime to collect donations.”
Mr Langdon added the two charities were chosen as they do such great work in the local community.
