A BRACKNELL man has been jailed following a nationwide operation against suspected drug dealers.

Michael McEwan, 40, of Station Road, Bracknell, pleaded guilty at Southwark Crown Court on Friday to supplying Class A drugs namely crack cocaine and heroin.

He was jailed for five years and eight months.

McEwan was arrested on January 30 as part of Operation Nasurem, a series of warrants led by the Trident Central Gangs Unit of the Metropolitan Police. The operation targeted people who were suspected of dealing drugs across the country.

After the case, Chief Inspector Dave Gilbert, police commander of Bracknell Forest, said: “This sentence shows that we take cross border crime very seriously in Bracknell Forest.

‘We have worked closely with the Metropolitan police to prevent criminal offending in our local policing Areas.”
