CREWS from Bracknell and Wokingham were called to Crown Wood Medical Centre this afternoon (Monday) after an 83-year-old lady had accidentally hit a tree.

Firefighters were called to the scene at about 2pm, and had to cut the roof off of the automatic Toyota to free the woman.

Paramedics lifted her out of the car on a spinal board before taking her to Royal Berkshire Hospital for further treatment as a precaution.

Emergency services spent about 45 minutes at the scene.
