Kennel Lane school in Priestwood and Freemantles School in Woking for children and young people with autism have booked places for the special screening of The Muppets at the Odeon at The Point in Bracknell on Thursday next week (April 26).
Screenings have been organised nationwide for National Autism Awareness Month this April by the charity Film Education with learning disabilities support provider Dimensions.
James Lennox, managing director of Film Education, said: "Film Education, in partnership with cinemas and film distributors, is passionately committed to providing children and young people within the autism spectrum, as well as those with sensory impairment and physical disabilities, the opportunities to engage with film and enjoy the cinema experience."
The lights will be left on low, the volume will be turned down and viewers can move around or make noise as they feel comfortable.
Schools can attend the autism-friendly screenings for free and teachers can book tickets online at www.filmeducation.org or by calling 020 7292 7360.
