A CAT show will get a helping paw from a celebrity feline.

Bob the cat was made famous in 2012, when James Bowen published ‘A Street Cat Named Bob’, detailing how the feline had turned around the life of the homeless busker.

Bob and Mr Bowen will open the Bracknell and Wokingham District branch of Cats Protection’s summer fair at Carnation Hall, Winkfield, on Saturday.

Cats looking for new homes will be on display and there will be feline-related goodies on sale.

Entrance is £1 or a donation of cat food at the event, which runs 1-4pm.
