The fair offers vital advice to pensioners, with information available on pensions tax, various legal issues and healthcare services.
It also has stalls selling a range of essential items that could be needed in later life, as well as cookery demonstrations, live music and a fashion show throughout the day.
Mark Taylor, head of libraries, arts and heritage services for Royal Borough, who runs a stall at the fair, said: “We have regularly exhibited at the retirement fair. Last year we spoke to 330 people to promote our services aimed at the retired and those working with older people.”
Sunningdale Bowls Club has also confirmed it will be returning to run a stall.
Rob Montgomery, the club’s chairman, said: “The retirement fair is an enjoyable day.
“We are always looking to welcome new members and the opportunity to chat to people at the fair has proven to be one of the most successful ways of promoting ourselves.
“Last year we signed up 10 new members and look forward to welcoming more this year.”
This year’s fair will take place at Ascot Racecourse in High Street on Wednesday, August 20, from 10am-4pm. Both admission and parking are both free.
