A group of four men were assaulted by a group of five men after leaving a club in Ascot in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The victims, in their 20s, were leaving Club One in High Street shortly after 4am and were assaulted by the five-man group while waiting for a taxi.

The offending group then got into a silver people carrier-type vehicle, which may have been a taxi, and was then driven down High Street towards the Jaguar garage.

The victims sustained cuts and bruising and were taken to Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey, and have since been released.

The offenders were black men, aged between 20 and 30 years old. One was wearing a flat cap. No further descriptions are available.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to contact PC Steve Parker on 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

This club seems to cause a lot of trouble. Let's not wait for another murder here before doing something about it.
