Staff on target for charity

STAFF from development and infrastructure consultants Peter Brett Associates (PBA) are more than half way towards this year’s £10,000 charity target for cancer research.

The Caversham-based international company fielded a 40-strong team in last week’s Mizuno Reading Half Marathon and raised £6,000 after they were all led home by their fastest runner in 82 minutes.

The consultancy is also staging raffles, cake sales and a quiz night to meet its target of at least £10,000 for Cancer Research UK.

PBA managing partner Paul Reilly, who ran with his wife, said: “It was fantastic to see so many colleagues and their families take part in

the half marathon for such a hugely important cause.

Many people are affected by cancer, whether directly or indirectly, so we want to raise as much money as we can.”
